ASB Leadership – Course Description
Prerequisite: Election (held in February/March for the following school year) or appointment to RHS Student Commission.
Course: Designed to promote leadership skills of student at all grade levels. Students acquire such skills as goal setting, organization, time management, advertisement, and problem solving to only name a few. The course focuses on school government/polices related to the Associated Student Body (ASB), the management of all student money, the promotion of school spirit, and organizing and promoting all school-wide events. Individuals that are required to be in the ASB Leadership class are the ASB Executive Board Members, Class Officers and the commissioners. This course is A-G approved through the UC and State school system in California.
