Link Crew

Link Crew

Link Crew is a group of students who are juniors and seniors that help guide our young incoming freshmen into high school. They communicate, befriend, give advice, and check in on the young students. Link is voluntary and students give up time during the summer and school year to be properly trained to assist incoming freshmen and also participate in Link Crew activities.

Events of Link Crew
**Dates of event will be communicated via Remind, Social Media and School Email. Stay tuned.

1. Freshmen Orientation - a day before school starts filled with ice breakers, a tour of campus, and great discussion making new friends and prepping for high school classes.

2. Link Crew Winter Study Buddy Night - a two night event where link leaders and teachers come together to help young students study for their finals.

3. 8th Grade Welcome Day - The Link Crew Leaders at RHS organize and execute an amazing event for the incoming freshmen called 8th grade welcome day. Incoming freshmen are invited to participate in activities, workshops, a BBQ, attend active classes, and a tour of our amazing campus. This day has been created to help them future students gain the knowledge of high school expectations and excitement. This day also allows for the development of relationships to occur between current junior and senior students and 8th grade students. Students in the district along with students outside the district interested in RHS are welcome to attend. It is a day full of positivity while giving future students the confidence to transition to the high school level.

4. Link Crew Spring Study Buddy Night - a two night event where link leaders and teachers come together in the spring semester to help young students finish the year strong in their finals.

Link Crew's Admiration Hour

Link Crew 2021-2022 worked to show their admiration for people who have made an impact on their life! This is the power of gratitude! We shared this project with our student body through our Instagram page @asbofriponhighschool
