Link Crew Elective Course Perspective at Ripon High School
My opinion on Link Crew being an optional class as an elective is a great idea. Some kids don't like to socialize, and that is okay. It gives the kids who are outgoing, and social a chance to be closer with lower classmen, and upper.
~Evan I like the idea. It would allow the people who want to be more involved in Link Crew to be. Possibly being able to help plan and organize next year's Link Crew activities sounds amazing. Personally, I would love to be a bigger part in Link Crew and helping people at RHS feel comfortable and welcomed. ~Madyson Honestly, I am not sure how I feel about Link Crew becoming an optional class. It would probably be super fun and helpful in some ways, but there's honestly not enough content in that type of class that would be it an acceptable elective. I am not even sure what we would do in that class. It is a good idea, but probably not very realistic. ~Anthony I think that having Link Crew as a class would be very beneficial to the club. I think that through having a class for Link Crew we could do more for the school, and also the events we have could be more thoroughly planned. I would definitely take this class if it was offered. ~Grace |
I believe Link Crew being an optional class is something that would be beneficial for us since not only would it allow us to get more acquainted with each other since theres usually so many people involved with Link Crew, but also it would let us do nice things for the students such as making small gifts for them, decorating the school or helping plan fun events. Although having a link crew class would have its benefits it would also attract many people who just want easy credits and aren't actually interested in helping out the program.
~Melany |
I personally believe that making Link Crew an elective is a great idea. Link Crew now supports and helps the 8th graders transition, but making it an elective will help them throughout their whole first year of high school. This class can help students in many ways, like show them leadership and event just new experiences. I was lucky enough to have an older sister to turn to and ask questions about the high school, but not all people will have that. This class will help students like them figure things out and fully adjust into this new school.
~Grace My opinion of Link Crew being an optional class to take at RHS as an elective is that it should be a mandatory class. I believe every upperclassmen should voice their advice and help freshmen. Different students have different opinions, the more people the more the students have prior knowledge before they come to school. I would love to have Link Crew as an elective so we can create new activities for the freshmen as the school year goes by! ~Kalani |
I think having Link Crew as a class would be a great idea to help kids learn how to gain better leadership skills and work with the incoming freshmen. It would also help give them those skills to work with different people in the real world, and how to manage stress. Although, I would really have to know more about what the class would consist of to really judge how it would be.
~Kylie
I believe having Link Crew be an optional class at RHS is a fantastic idea, being that it would provide more opportunities to create a positive and welcoming environment on campus. Personally, I would love the opportunity to take the class and look forward to the possibility.
~Isabella
I think that creating a Link Crew class would be a really great opportunity for students and the rest of the student body. By creating a Link Crew class, it would increase the involvement of the Link Crew leaders and allow them to get more involved with the freshmen at Ripon High. The more we reach out and get to know the freshmen, the more safe and welcomed they'll feel, which is our main goal. I also think that the fact it's optional and not required is a good thing because I know that if the class were to be during sixth or seventh period it would make some of the seniors less apt to join the class but it still allows them to be involved and included in the Link Crew Program.
~Alexandra
I see pros and cons to Link Crew being a class. On the one side, I see that it could be a useful resource for kids that need extra help transitioning into the high school dynamic because getting guidance from people that have already been through all of the same stuff certainly helps. Another thing I though was that when kids from other schools come to shadow our school, they could be paired with someone that is in the Link Crew class. Also, it might look good on a college application depending on how involved the students get. On the other hand, the cons I see are that it might interest less students but in a way that is also a pro because then you know that the students who are there to take it serious.
~Gabrielle
I think that if link crew were to be an elective class you would get another leadership type of program. Link Crew is basically leadership without as much stress and added pressure. Do you think the kids would take it? Yes, but I don't think it will be the outcome that is desired.
~Jacob
I think that Link Crew would be hard as an elective because so many students apply and it would be a large class. I think there would also be a lot of downtime since Link Crew doesn't put on too many events throughout the year.
~Laila
Link Crew, as an elective, would be a great opportunity for students who aren't fully interested in Leadership and all of its responsibilities.. Many students want to become leaders and learn how to help others but might want to have to do certain things in front of the whole school or may be nervous about putting themselves out there. This class would help students like that and bring in new opportunities for Ripon High School.
~Jordyn
I really like the idea of having a Link Crew as an elective. I think it would be a great way to work together getting to know each other more rather than just our groups we had chosen. It would be a great way to come up with new ideas for 8th grade day, orientation, etc, Maybe even come up with a couple more events that Link Crew could be involved in/help out at. Overall, I really do like the idea and I believe it would be good for everyone who wants to do the class to be move involved.
~Emma
I would love to have Link Crew as a class. I think that this would be a great idea because it would make you more involved in activities and it would provide more time to plan activities. It would allow for more student input to broaden school activities. It may force students to open up more and show their true selves because they are always having to interact with new people. It would also teach students to have better communication skills because they would have to interact with new students.
~Jordan
I think it's a great idea, but I think Link Crew as a club would be just a efficient. Link Crew only has a few events throughout the year, and while there is plenty of preparation necessary for those events, a club is sufficient. Also, since Link Crew consists of upperclassmen that may have the choice to opt out of classes, it may not be very popular. There's also the opposite problem, where some members won't be able to take the class because they have other classes that they must take. If a Link Crew class was offered, I would like to join, but my academic classes and JROTC take up my room for extra electives. I definitely see the benefits of having a Link Crew Class, however I think Link Crew as a club is successful as it is.

I think making link crew a class would be a great idea. Not only will it give us more time to do stuff for the 8th graders but it will help create real and better bonds between link crew leaders.
~ Darrian I think the idea of Link Crew being an optional class is a great idea to build people and leadership skills, however, if it was an optional class I am not sure how many people would choose to take it. One major part of Link Crew is welcoming the incoming freshmen, and that's a skill that can't really be taught. ~Kelly I think it is a great idea to include Link Crew as its own elective. I think this will give students more freedom with being able to be a class rather than an after school thing. With Link Crew being a class, I think Ripon High can become even more spirited than it already it. ~Ana |
I feel that the idea of Link Crew becoming an elective next year will be extremely beneficial to the students involved in the program. Having Link Crew as a class would help people open up because it would force students to work with others that they are unfamiliar with. I also believe that this program can teach students lifelong skills, including responsibility, time management, and proper communication skills. These qualities are deeply important to our future careers, and are needed in order to succeed in our adult lives.
~Kayla |
I think having Link Crew as an elective would be a great idea because a lot of people would be willing to take that class, including me. I feel like we could always use new and exciting electives at Ripon High School and making Link Crew an option would definitely be a great opportunity to contribute to that. It could help members of Link Crew be prepared and can offer more time to think of activities that incoming freshen would enjoy.
~Trysta
I think Link Crew being a class would be a great idea because it allows more people to be involved.
~Reese
I think having a Link Crew elective is a really good idea because the whole point of the program is to create a place where the incoming freshmen feel welcomed but if there's a class the positivity of the program can spread to all grades. Also, Link Crew is a really good program when it comes to making friendships amongst all grades which is very helpful for some kids who may not feel like they have many friends. The class would overall create a lot more positivity throughout our campus and would help our school become a more welcoming environment than it already is.
~Alexis
I think that the class option would be a great idea because it would give us a better chance to do more not only for the upcoming freshmen, but for other kids wanting to branch out and get out of their comfort zone. I would make it earlier in the day, like 3rd or 4th period, because many seniors opt out 1st, 2nd, 6th or 7th. However, if there is a class specifically for Link Crew, I would love to join.
~Ashley
I think having Link Crew as an optional elective class is a great idea. It would be an ideal way for students to get more involved within the school instead of Link Crew just being a club. It can have a bigger impact on the school and continue to make our high school the world's greatest high school.
~Kennedy
I think that is a great idea and I would definitely look into taking that class in the future if it is able to happen. We would be so much more prepared for 8th grade day and other events like helping with homecoming. We could even find brand new ways to make Ripon High a better school then it already is.
~Taylor
I think Link Crew being an optional class to take as an elective would be a great idea. It would give other students the skills to better interact with others and also give them the chance to spread positivity at RHS. I feel like it could be a very fun as well as educational elective that many students would be interested in taking.
~Vanessa
Link Crew is a friendly environment and what better than to bring all participants closer together to share our ideas in a class for this specific cause. I would definitely be interested in taking the course!
~Brenda
Although I can not guarantee my schedule next year, I would be interested in taking this class because it would help the Link Crew group grow stronger and provide much needed time to help with the incoming 8th graders as well as the current freshmen next year.
~Derek
I think that if we had Link Crew as a physical class that would be great for the program itself. It would allow people in link crew to plan more activities and get further involved. It would also allow for more time other than the designated meeting days, since with it being a class, we would have 50 minutes for 5 days a week, which again allows for more planning time which then in turn allows for better activities. With the class being option, and not mandatory, I like that concept cause it allows for student to take other classes that they need to would like to take without have to stress about having to choose those classes over link crew.
~Sada

I feel that a Link Crew class would be an excellent idea to give an opportunity for those who wish to be even more involved in the school events and activities. It's also a good idea to make it optional for being in Link Crew because it gives students the option to take other enriching classes while still participating in Link Crew. I feel that having a Link Crew class would help develop a better school culture by adding more activities on our school schedule or modifying the ones that are already there to make them more inclusive and entertaining for the students.
~Zoe I think it would be better to expand on other electives such as an ASL class or something of the like, but I could see a link crew class as a great addition to our school. ~Kai |
In my opinion, having Link Crew as an elective course is a great idea. Having it as a part of students everyday schedule will help members become more dedicated to it which will most likely increase the number of students interested. However, there are some students who wouldn't be interested in taking it as a class mainly because there are other electives which for them could be more beneficial. Though I think taking a link crew class as an elective is well worth it.
~Paola I think having Link Crew as an elective class is great. it would give more to the school character wise, also social wise. The program could give more than it already does. ~Ashtyne |
I think having Link Crew as an optional class is a great idea to help people improve their leadership skills and create good team workers. I like how it is an optional class so people who don't want to take the class can still be able to join Link Crew. As for those who do want to join the class, they are able to take it as an elective and develop their skills.
~Rachel Personally, I feel that Link Crew as a class would be a great idea. It would allow much more time for the planning of activities, and we would have a consistent, daily schedule to make thing easier. If it were a class, Link Crew would be able to be in charge of more events throughout the year instead of mainly in the beginning of the year, and it would overall be a good decision. ~Sophia |
In my opinion, the idea of Link Crew being an optional class to take at RHS as an elective is good because it can further branch out this positive program. When I was an 8th grader and even as a freshman last year, I remember seeing all the activities the Link Crew was capable of doing. I saw a hard working and motivated group capable of doing even bigger things out of "8th Grade Day". Also, the thought of providing the incoming freshmen class with more support cannot be seen negatively in my eyes. Having a whole class based on helping the future students of RHS will bring bigger and better things for Ripon High. This would not only show the 8th graders how much Link Crew really cares, but also teach important experiences to the leaders in the class. With a dedicated class to this program, there will be no limits to expand the capabilities of Link Crew.
~Francine |
I would like to have Link Crew an an elective class, since it would bring the Link Crew closer together. However, there might not be a lot of people who would go if they have other classes they would want to do.
~Emma
I believe having an elective for Link Crew would be a great idea for the program. This would let members brainstorm and implement ideas for activities at Ripon High. It would be also help to unite us, members, into a more cohesive group.
~Korbin
I think having Link Crew being an optional class to take at RHS is a great idea for students who want to get involved. This class could teach students to work together and teach ways to demonstrate positivity. This would be perfect for someone who wants to be a part of RHS, but might be afraid to do so because they might not be the outgoing type. Some people think being in Leadership is the only way to get involved and to make an impact, but providing a Link Crew class would certainly change this outlook and I hope it becomes a reality.
~Jordan
I think a Link Crew elective would be a crucial class if it were to be instilled at RHS. Random acts of kindness are always appreciated by everyone, and especially for the freshmen. I feel like this elective would reform RHS as a whole, and motivate more people to interact and integrate the freshmen, whether they're in the class or not. Also, it would create an even more welcoming campus if the Link Crew elective went beyond the classroom.
~Tyla
I think a Link Crew class as an elective is a good idea, but I don't know how effective it would be. What we do in Link crew is centered around being welcoming to the new freshmen and making a positive impact as leaders at Ripon High and I just don't know how you would put that into a year long class. I also don't know who would actually choose to take the class if you could just be a part of Link Crew for freshmen welcoming, because that's what I would do.
~Sailor
The idea of taking Link Crew as an optional elective would be something I would be open to, if it were to fit into my schedule. I am not sure that would work for my Junior year, but I would definitely be open to it my Senior year. I am wondering what the class would be like and what kinds of things we would be doing in it.
~Dylan
My opinion on Link Crew being an optional class at RHS is fantastic. I think it would help those who don't want to do speeches for leadership, but still get to be a part of something similar and help others. This would be fun to do different activities and maybe even help those struggling to make friends, and you could help others feel accepted. I believe this would benefit RHS and students in general in so many positive ways.
~Sierra
I think having Link Crew as an elective class could be a hard thing to establish in terms of curriculum and grading system. However, I love the idea of a smaller group of people making crafts and cards, and planning activities for the incoming students. I think it might be hard to make this last an entire school year. Maybe if this class was only one semester or even a club. As a Link Crew Club, a smaller group of people who were more dedicated could have the opportunity to helping out in a non-graded environment in which they might feel more creative and excited to help out. As a one one semester class, there would be two sets of students who would get to experience the class, which could be beneficial depending on the demand.
~Josie
The whole main purpose of Link Crew in my opinion is to make others feel better about themselves and to spread kindness to one another. I think Link Crew is one of the best things about Ripon High. People offering to help someone break out of their comfort zone, helping people get more involved and supporting other students is what Link Crew is all about. Making Link Crew into an actual class will take it to a whole different level. This class will be filled with students eager to help out the school. This will be an opportunity for people to learn more about spreading kindness and being supportive to others all year round. Link crew as a class will bring out the better in people and even if someone isn't in the class they will still be affected by someone who is a member. Being a part of this group can go a long way and having the opportunity to make a positive impact can do the best for others.
~Brooke
Being completely honest, I don't think an entire class dedicated to Link Crew would be beneficial to our campus as a whole without some more additions. There are already too many students for our campus to hold, and the number will be increasing for at least a year or so. I think adding a class of any kind at this point may be detrimental until more space accommodations can be made.
~Brendan

In my opinion, the whole idea of Link Crew is that the students involved are going out of their way to make the transition to high school easier for the incoming freshmen. They are taking the time out of their already busy schedule for this and that shows tremendous character. Also, if there was an optional class I feel there wouldn't be much to do once school has started and the freshmen begin to get more comfortable. I just think how it is now is way more productive for students.
~Sydney |
I think that creating an optional Link Crew class would be beneficial to Ripon High because it would ensure that Link Crew beliefs and traditions will be carried on for years to come at RHS. Students who want to be involved and have room on their schedule would be dedicating their time everyday to this course, which would help improve the program. I also think it would help the overall culture at Ripon High and create an even more welcoming environment.
~Brooke My thoughts and opinions having Link Crew as an elective would be that the people that do sign up to it would be very loyal to the program, but it would indefinitely decrease in numbers. Since it would be a grade that would count on a transcript, the students that do join the program would become more willing to get a good grade to properly get the full experience. because of this factor, it may give people the idea that they would not want to give up one of their electives that they may need for college for a class that might not be as necessary in their eyes. I am not saying that leadership is not important, it is, just my peers may not think of it as ideal for college. ~Tyler |
I think it would be a good idea if Link Crew became a class at Ripon high because it would allow the members to take part in more activities, than just the 8th grade orientation and other events at the beginning of the year. I feel that Link Crew members beak off from the freshman right after the first few weeks of school but they should stay in touch so the freshmen don't feel like the upperclassmen don't care about them. If Link Crew was a class, then the members would be able to find more ways to motivate the freshmen to get involved and help them with stuff. New and better relationships would also be formed among the grade levels if Link crew stays connected with the freshmen which would also lead to a better environment at school.
~Triptaan |
Having Link Crew as an elective could be a really good idea because then we can have the chance for more students to become involved with the leadership aspect of Link Crew. It would bring the chance of more Link Crew events with more planning to them since the class is solely dedicated to Link Crew.
~Maliah
I think the idea of Link Crew being an optional class is a great way for more upperclassmen on campus to get involved. It would insure that additional work would be done to help the underclassmen, and more activities on campus. But, I think it would be a challenge to get enough people in that class, considering opt out as well as Leadership and Peer Helping already available.
~Avery
I think having a Link Crew as an elective would be great. It would give kids an option to be more involved and it would give them a fun elective to take that would teach them leadership skills.
~Lauren
Link Crew should not be an individual class because there aren't enough events for freshmen to create an entire curriculum off of. In addition, students would much rather dedicate their time and efforts into other various advanced classes in which can boost their overall GPA and prepare them for college.
~Niki
I think that having a Link Crew as an optional class would be a great idea. It could allow students to learn essential life lessons and help others at the same time.
~Aaron
I do not think that Link Crew should be an elective course at RHS. I don't think the Link Crew program does enough to need an entire course dedicated to it. I do not think that the course should be too laid back in that sense, because people would begin attempting to join the class with no drive or motivation to actually make a difference on campus just because they know that the class isn't demanding or doesn't require strict time management on the students' behalf. I think it would be difficult to have a whole course for a program like Link Crew because it is dedicated to one very specific cause: welcoming new students. Leadership is able to be so successful as a course because it is dedicated to doing so many things for our school campus. The aim of the Leadership program is much more broad than the aim of Link Crew, so it would be difficult to fit in a significant amount of events for the Link Crew course to be responsible for managing. I do think that the Link Crew program should do even more for our new students on campus, but I do not think that it needs to be a course.
~Kate
I think a Link Crew class would be a good leadership building class for those not already involved in the leadership program. The field trip that Link Crew took last year was very beneficial, and I think if we could have a class that taught some of those same key principles, our student body would see positive changes in the social climate of Ripon High.
~Lilly

I think having a Link Crew class would be a great idea. It would be an amazing way for Link Crew Leaders to better enhance their leadership skills. I personally think it would be a good idea.
~Bryan
I don't think it should be an optional class. I think it should stay as a club because there is not enough material to cover over the whole year as an elective class. If it were to e a class there would have to be more material to cover and a purpose to the class, other than introducing the new class men each year. However, we could add more events or meetings to this upcoming year.
~Emma
I think that Link Crew should be an optional class at RHS. This class would bring more liability to the students who want to be a part of the link crew program. A class would also bring link crew more opportunities or events to help out with. I believe the class would help more students be a part of the campus and feel they are making a change.
~Gracie
I think if link crew was an elective it would bring link crew closer and help us get to now each other better because there wasn't very many activities and link crew wasn't together on a regular basis and if we were I feel that link crew would be more comfortable around each other and help each other grow as leaders by teaching each other important lessons.
~Austin
I think the class would be very beneficial for not only the link members in the class but also for link crew members out of the optional class. I believe the class would give more time for Link Crew to make more things happen around Ripon High. I would be interested in taking the class next year if it was an option on the ballot. I believe the Link class would be a good idea for Link and all its members.
~Simon
I think that this is a great idea for the leaders who want to get involved but aren't in any classes such as ASB, FFA, yearbook, etc. This would be a great way to teach the Link Crew Leaders more about how to properly lead and how they can become better Link Crew Leaders.
~Malery
I think that having a Link Crew class would be a good idea because it's like a leadership class, but not the kind of leadership where you are planning all of the events. It is more like a class based around supporting everyone at RHS and trying to make school a more inclusive and accepting place. We already have peer assistance but I think that adding Link Crew as a class would be good to try to get more kids that might need some extra guidance and support to learn skills and become leaders on campus.
~Naomi
I think link crew as an optional class is a great idea. Having a link crew as a class will also help and benefit by helping our school events in many different ways. Also, I'm not really interested in many other electives and this would be a great elective that I would like and benefit from, such as getting more involved in school events and learning many new things about leadership and our school.
~Alexa
Personally I would love to be a part of this class. I think it would be a great opportunity to make this school even more welcoming and help us become more of a community. I believe Ripon High and the ASB program do a very good job at helping our school come together and getting everyone more involved but I also believe that we can always get better. Opening a Link Crew class would allow more room for activities and help make the program even better.
~Ellie
Personally I feel that Link Crew should not be an elective because it is already kind of a fun leadership kind of club, and typically clubs don't get to be an elective. But if it were to be a class, I definitely think it should be optional because of the athletes that miss 7th period a lot and for the people that opt out during 7th period.

I think that Link Crew being an optional class for the future is a good idea so that we can do more to help out with our school. I would like it as a class personally because I don't like a lot of electives. This would be a good chance to help out our school and grow the link crew program. Link Crew would be a productive class that I would get to participate in. I think that this class will be successful because so many people are interested in the program.
~Haley I think that it would be a good idea for Link Crew to be an optional class. This would leave more room for Link Crew to do more good for the school and be more of a positive role model for the entire school. This would also be easier for some kids to be involved as well as drive more kids to sign up. Jett |
I think having Link Crew be an elective at RHS would be great. We could connect more as a class and would spend more time with each other. We would all bring our ideas together which would help a lot. Not just one grade would be in that class but another grade would which would let juniors and seniors connect more as well.
~Sierra I believe having Link Crew being an elective will not only help the class itself as a whole but also the freshmen class. At anytime throughout the year if they need help or if they just need a friend having that class I feel will open many new doors that past classes didn't have. ~Kailee I think that making Link Crew into an elective would be a great idea. This could make it easier to spend more time working on posters and other small things that can help with rallies. We could also be more personal with the freshmen. For example, we can write them letters or goodie bags for different holidays or events. And the fact that the course would not be required to be a part of Link Crew, could also bring in many more people. Many times people don't take certain classes because they don't have a spot available in their ballot. By making it an optional course, more people would be willing to join. And with more people, bigger events can be planned and executed. ~Sanjana |
My thoughts, and opinions behind the idea of Link Crew being an optional class to take at RHS as an elective is very effective, and brilliant, because Link Crew has affected me so much, and changed my character from the previous years. it has taught me how to speak in front of big crowds, to be more active, becoming confident in being myself and creating more knowledge about RHS. Link Crew as an optional class will help students achieve in public speaking and create more self motivated person throughout life that will help them in college and in job interviews.
~Jocelyn
I would be thrilled to have Link Crew as an optional class at RHS because it can help make our environment better by promoting am ore positive atmosphere. it would also be another great way to get involved at our school.
~Caitlynn
I think that the idea of Link Crew becoming an elective is a wonderful idea. It could give Juniors and Seniors a way to get more involved at our school without having to be in leadership to do so because leadership can be competitive to get into.
~Christiana
I think it is an amazing idea to have a Link Crew class because it can be for the people who want to be more involved. I'd personally loved to take a link crew class if Ripon High offered it.
~Martha
I strongly feel that Link Crew should be an elective class at RHS. it is an excellent opportunity to be more active in our community and learn of leadership and teamwork. it gives us the chance to be a positive example as a role model. Also, a Link Crew elective class will promote school and community pride.
~Jaden
I think adding Link Crew to be an optional class to take at RHS as an elective would be a great idea, but also have some concerns. I like the idea of having the process of getting interviewed and answering questions, it shows your dedication and determination of being in Link Crew. With making Link crew an optional class, you will have to understand that not everyone is qualified. Also have to think about if it would be better to add both Link Crew and Leadership together? In my opinion, we shouldn't make it a class, but possibly meet once a month, like Student Senate. With meetings once a month, you still can discuss more events to do and also keep us in the loop about what we would help with.
~Zoe
I think having Link crew be an elective would be a very controversial topic. Personally I would not have enough electives to participate in the program, and I feel like that would be the case for many other people. Also, Link Crew is very similar to Leadership but there is less things to do, so I feel as though, many of the days the students would be left with nothing to do. I think having link crew as an elective would be too similar to leadership and peer assistance.
~Gianna
I would love for link crew to be a class. With link crew as a class it allows more students to get involved with the club. It also allows the ability for the class to be able to do more and welcome students in different ways. Link crew as a class can also open the opportunity to be together as a club more often in order to plan more events ahead.
~Abby
Having link crew as a class would benefit the program as a whole as they come up with more events specifically for the freshmen that could potentially unite the class as a whole and get everyone more comfortable and acquainted with one another.
~Deicia
I think Link Crew being an elective at RHS would be a great idea. I think a lot of kids would take the class especially the ones who didn't make it into leadership. it would be helpful for the students in Link Crew to be even more involved and know more about the different events happening at school.
~Kimberlee
I believe that having a year round elective course would help to balance the load of Link Crew and give the program am ore involved position at RHS. However, I am concerned about the class of this group with Peer Helpers or the transition from occasional season activities that Link crew hosts to more regular events. Perhaps events that are too regular would be overwhelming to the new students at RHS. While I would like to see the creation of such a class, it is unlikely that I, personally, would enroll because of my loaded academic schedule.
